PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
2nd February
Topic: GRACE FOR SERVICE….Part 10
Text: 2nd Corinthians 12:9 KJV

9 He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

In part nine we discussed how to receive grace. Today we want to talk further about how to receive grace from God.

The grace of God upon a man or upon what a man does is a symbol of God’s presence with him in other words God releases grace upon a man because he is with the man. On the other hand, a man without grace is simply a man whom God is not on his side. Let’s take a brief clue from the scriptures.

Before God dedicated the Levites unto himself and gave them grace to be the only tribe of Israel separated unto God to work in his temple, they first of all choose to be on the Lord’s side when Moses made a clarion call as recorded in Exodus 32:26

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

So if God gives you grace it’s a sign that God’s presence is with you and he is on your side.

Now one powerful thing that brings down the presence of God upon a man is praise. Praise brings down God’s presence and God’s presence brings down grace upon that man who praises God. One thing that makes David to attract God’s presence, attention and likeness so much that God named him a man after His heart is praise, no wonder he (David) was one of the very few that God released the double grace of Kingship and Priesthood upon. To be a King (e.g Saul) ruling a nation is great and fulfilling, likewise to be a Priest of God (e.g Eli & Samuel) telling people the mind of God is equally great and fulfilling but to be a King and a Priest (e.g David) at the same time is awesome and extra ordinary, that double grace was what David received through praise.

Beloved as you go to God’s presence today in service, praise God to receive grace upon your life, home, business and ministry. Praise him to release double grace upon you for service. Praise him with a great passion and commitment like David who said in Psalms 34:1

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

God bless you and happy Sunday service.

PRAYER:
* Father, as I praise you today, release your grace upon me in Jesus Name.
