Topic: COMMANDING THE DAYS.
Text: Job 22:28.
28: Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
God made all things, but Adam named them all. The moment man was made God delegated authority to him, God made his purpose for making man known in Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
David made research about creatures in Psalms 8; he considered the stars, the moon, the sun and all that God has made and concluded that he has given dominion to man, hear his conclusion in verse 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet. The phrase ‘ all things ‘ means everything that God has made, that includes the days, is under man.
If man have dominion overs all that God made according to the scripture above, then man can command his days, he has authority over the days of his life. It means man can change bad days to good ones, evil days to glorious days, days of pains to days of joy through his words. Dominion could be replaced with authority, authority is in the mouth, he can speak to his days and the days will comply.
Everyone who understands this mystery speak to his or her day every morning before stepping out. There will be a turn around if you can speak positive things into your days. Your life will get better if you put your dreams in words and speak them forth.
You can turn things around, start speaking, if you have started don’t stop speaking, keep speaking and your testimony will come.
You imagine the kind of authority in your mouth on a day you fast, fasting and prayer is like fueling fire, just imagine what happens when you pour petrol in fire, that’s the kind of reaction in the spirit when you fast, fire will proceed from your mouth to consume unpleasant things in your life.
