Topic: THE NUMBERING OF DAYS….part 3
Text: Jeremiah 8:20-22.
20: “The harvest is finished, and the summer is gone,” the people cry, “yet we are not saved!”
21: I hurt with the hurt of my people. I mourn and am overcome with grief.
22: Is there no medicine in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why is there no healing for the wounds of my people? NLT
This passage of the bible shows the true reflection of God in times of unpleasant circumstances of his people. Most times, most people think God either leave them to go through their difficult times or allow them go through them for a reason best known to him, this is not so as the scripture clearly express the mood of God in time of discomfort of his people. Time will fail me to give you enough scriptures to prove this, and besides, my assignment here is not to prove this point, but to let you know that God expects we move forward as we number our days.
It is important you understand that our blessings are relatives to time, in the process of time you are to record progress just as a child grows with time, and I am glad to announce to you that this year God is set to move your life forward.
In our passage, God was not pleased that is people have not to experienced change that is relative to present timing, they are still not healed despite the fact that there is balm in Gilead. On the side of God the needed has been provided, grace has been released, just for them to enter into their blessings yet they are missed them, why? The answer is provided below;
Let’s go back the the prayer of Moses in Psalms 90:12; So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. KJV. Application of wisdom in our daily living becomes absolutely important if we must move forward, if we will not miss the things that God has provided for us, if we will make progress that is relevant to time, then application of wisdom in our lives is inevitable.
What God does is to release grace for breakthrough, success, prosperity, healing, financial fortune, promotion, it is your duty to apply wisdom to your life to actualize the blessings that are made available by grace.
What kind of wisdom?
* Wisdom to make money.
* Wisdom to run business profitably.
* Wisdom to manage your finances.
* Wisdom to achieve your dreams.
* Wisdom to rise to next level.
* Wisdom to take advantage of opportunities.
* Wisdom to excel in whatever you do.
* Wisdom to rise above limitations.
* Wisdom to prevail against all odds
* Wisdom to rise from misery to mastery.
* Wisdom to rise from penury to prosperity.
* Wisdom to move from employee to employer.
My sincere prayer for you is that you will not miss what God has prepared, and has also given you grace to achieve. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Help me Lord to rightly apply wisdom in my daily living, in taking decisions and actualizing my dreams.
