Topic: PREPARATION FOR THE COMING YEAR…part 3.
Text: Psalm 91:1.
1: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
The focus here is family retreat. This is a season everyone wants to relax and have fun with his or her family members, going for tourism, visit places and attending events, but is also a time to reflect on the ending year with family members and hold prayers with family members.
Merrying all through the festive season is not the best, praying with family members will in a long way bring blessings upon the family in the coming year. Seeking God’s face and encouraging everyone in the family to follow suit will bring fortune to the family.
Great things lie ahead; great successes, mega breakthrough for each member of the family is awaiting us in the new year, but some people will miss theirs because of the devices of the enemy.
Many people have gone through many years and have nothing to show for them because their blessings eluded them, waiting and praying is a way to stop the enemy before he stops you.
When members of the family pray in unity great things happen, how do I know?
Psalms 133:1,2 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments.
The unity in the place of prayer will wrought wonders in the family.
Every year holds blessings and challenges, waiting upon the Lord before entering the new year empowers you to overcome the challenges ahead of you.
