Topic: THE SECRETS OF THE ENEMY….Part 2
Text: Psalms 64:2-4KJV
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
Secrets exist in life both positively and negatively. Everyone has secret for example you must have heard people say the secret of my success, the secret of my strength, the secret of my achievement, while some have secret of their weakness. Likewise the enemies do have secrets, I mean the secrets of their wickedness, not only that, they also perpetuate their schemes in the secret or in darkness and never in the open or in the light.
Two things can be said about secrets, they are either hidden or exposed. Today we want discuss what happens when the secrets of the enemies are exposed.
* THEIR PLANS ARE FRUSTRATED: 2nd Kings 6:8-11 says
Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?
From the above pasage, the plans of the king of Syria was frustrated because Elijah exposed his secret to the King of Israel. When the secret of the enemy is exposed, every of his plan is frustrated. I pray the secrets of your enemies shall not be hidden from you in Jesus Name.
* THE ENEMIES ARE IN TROUBLE: When the secret of the enemy is exposed, then the enemy is in for trouble, because the one who was supposed to be the prey will brace up for battle and take the battle to the gate of the enemy. In Judges 15:9-16 When the Philistines came up against Judah to hand over Samson to them to deal with him and he had delt with them, the people of Judah went to Samson and explained to him the plans of the Philistines, Samson agreed that they bound him with ropes and delivered him to his enemies. Samson knew quite well what their plan was and so as the Philistines jubilated that Samson has been captured, the spirit of God rose mightly upon him that with the jaw bone of an ass, Samson killed a thousand soldiers of the Philistines. And so rather for Samson to be in trouble it was the Philistines that were in for in trouble because their plans were known to Samson. I decree every of your enemy are in for trouble over your life in Jesus Name.
Beloved, when the secrets of the enemies are exposed, the battle is as good as won, the war is as good as ended, except for a lazy and careless individual who fails to maximise the opportunity that the secret of his enemy has been exposed. I pray you will not a lazy and a careless soldier of Christ in Jesus Name.
PRAYER:
* Father, let every deep and dark secret of my enemy be exposed to me in Jesus Name.
