Topic: SERVING GOD’S PURPOSE …part 2.
Text: Joshua 24:15.
15: And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Each of us is made with a purpose, and fulfilling that purpose should be our priority in life. Your family is made for a purpose likewise your children are made for specific purposes.
Let me come out this way; please understand that every child is made with a glorious destiny, our children are meant to be prominent in the earth, how do I know? Jeremiah 30:20, 21
20: Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
21: And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the Lord.
Our children are leaders of tomorrow, we must be conscious of the fact that we rasing future leaders, some of them will be governors, senators, presidents and ministers. We are raising God’s generals.
Every child has a destiny to fulfil and the parents are meant to guide them. We play major role in the fulfilment of the destinies of our children; my dad wouldn’t want to see his son with average performance in school, it is not possible for anyone of his childen to stay at home on Sunday morning even though he wasn’t born again. His quest to see me excel in school and devoted to God leave a footprint on my destiny.
Our children can rise to fulfil their destines if we can give them all parental support they require. You have to be conscious of the destinies of this childen. From the womb I started waiting upon the Lord for each of my children, I don’t give them name except God speaks, they all answer prophetic names; their names reflect in their attributes.
Seek the face of God for the career of your children, not what you want, but what God wants and who God wants them to be. If your child is meant to be a lawyer and you’re raising him or her to be doctor, you will be missing God’s purpose for that child.
We all must be committed to ensuring our children fulfil God’s ordained purpose for their lives. God bless you.
