Topic: MANIFESTATION OF POWER
Text: 1 Corinthians 2:4-5KJV
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
We live in a world that is full of the exhibitions of power at different levels and at different capabilities. Such demonstration is seen commonly in a show of superiority over others and more often in a show of wickedness oppressing other people. It is great to let you know that we also belong to a kingdom of power , am talking about a great kingdom that is operated by a greater power than all and that is the power of God. Life on earth is sweet and blissful when the power of God is at work, the enemies and the oppressors will bow to you when the power of God is at work on your behalf and that makes you a victor and not a prey or victim of the enemy. I pray for you today, that there shall be the manifestation of God’s power in your life today in Jesus Name.
In Acts 16:20-30, Paul and Silas were kept in an optimum prison for preaching the gospel, the prison security was so tight that Paul and Silas were bound with chains on their hands and their legs. You can imagine that they were in prison with gates, yet in that prison they were bound hands and legs with chains, this meant that the magistrate who commanded they be kept such way never wanted them to be free at all, and he wanted them to be highly oppressed even in the prison. But as Paul and Silas began to pray and praise, there was a manifestation of the power of God bringing about earthquake, shaking of the prison, the chains that bound them and other prsioners broke, the prison doors and gates opened and suddenly the security saw himself at the mercy of Paul and Silas as he bowed that they should help him to be saved.
Beloved, I decree that God shall manifest his power in your life today and everything that has caged you and held you bound without any space of freedom, everything that oppressed you and caused your head to bow shall be destroyed in Jesus Name.
PRAYER:
* Father, manifest your power in my life today in Jesus Name.
