Text : 3 John 1:2
2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Prosperity is God’s desire for his children, this is like wanting to see your children live in prosperity, your life isn’t meant to be stagnant, life is progressive not retrogressive. God isn’t expecting you to be retrogressive in any way.
Your progress is his desire, your lifting is his wish, your financial breakthrough is one of the packages he has for you, knowing God’s desire for you and working towards it brings his desire to reality in your life.
My dad did want first position for me in school always, his dream was to see his son take first position, he did want me to read hard. One day he saw me with calculator, he took that as a medium of being lazy, he wanted me to make use of my brain. I needed a lot of explanation to let him know we are permitted to use calculator in school. He was simply driving at getting rid of laziness in my mind, in like manner, God does not want his children to be lazy, laziness is not an attribute of the kingdom.
Every child of God is expected to be up and doing, folding your hands when you need to work will lead to poverty, if there is anything I learnt from my late dad, and my ever living father, Magnificent God, is hardwork. God rewards hardwork, making good use of your time and money leads to prosperity.
Working hard is playing your role in ensuring that you get to your next level, while prayer brings God’s blessings upon your hardwork.
God told me some years ago, ‘ I am a multiplier ‘, he multiplies what we do. He blessed Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:22
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
After he flooded the earth with water he blessed Noah the same way in Genesis 9:1
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Hear what he said about Abraham in Isaiah 51:2
Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him when he was but one, and I blessed him and made him many.(multiply). Amplified version.
When he said in Genesis 2: 24
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
He meant 1×1= 1. So what he does is multiply our labour, he told me, ‘ if I multiply your idleness (0) with any figure the answer will still be nothing ‘, that’s 0 × any figure is = 0.
God is set to multiply your labour, don’t give up, you are close to the result. Hardwork pays when God is involved. Prayer brings God’s hand (God’s involvement) upon your labour. So, keep working and praying. God bless you.
