Texts ; Psalm 150; 1-6
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
We cannot stop discussing about the subject matter, our obligation to offering praises to God is a continuous one. It’s quite easy to explain that we must offer to God ceasless praise:
* The air we breath never ceased: As much as God did not cease or withhold the air we breath, that should brings us to remembrance that our praises to him should never cease, no wonder the scriptures says let everything that has breathe praise God. It therefore means if you are breathing and yet find it difficult to praise God, it’s an act of ingratitude.
* The air we breath is free: Imagine the air we breath is likened to the airtime we buy on our phones and regulated by government agencies, we probably will spend our entire lives working to pay the service providers for the air we breath. Glory to God that he gives us the immesurable air freely, without paying a dine, this understanding alone should teach everyman living that we are all indebted to God for this free gift, and so it should never be difficult to pay God with our offering of praises.
* We are God’s image: of all God’s creatures, he made us in his own image, he made us higher than all other creatures, infact all other things he made, he made for our use. If God has done that much for us, then we must praise God without ceasing.
Beloved, praise him without ceasing, let everything that has breathe praise the Lord. God bless you
