PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
9th October.
Topic: DEALING WITH MISTAKES….part 2.
Text: Proverbs 16:2,3

2: All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
3: Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Mistake is defined as a wrong attributable to bad judgement and inattention. Results we get in life are products of our decisions, most times our decisions are wrong because we don’t always have the right assessment of things, only God does.

Human senses do not have ability to discern good from evil, somethings look good but are bad in their real nature, and the best way to avoid or minimize mistakes in our lives is to get counsels from the one who knows all things, and that is God.

Our passage said it all; all the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes, when a man is going wrong it will appear to him that he is doing something right. Bad things most times are packaged in a good way to deceive the human sense of judgement, that is the reason God should be involved in our decision making.

Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

There is a thought of achieving good and great things in life in the hearts of everyone, in fact, you are products of your thoughts, that is, you had something in your mind that is the reason you are working, your purpose of setting up a business is to make money, but not all business ventures are profitable.

Committing that business in the hand of the Lord will bring your thoughts, purpose, aim of starting the business/works which is profit making to past.

The main assignment of a man now is to commit his works into God’s hand, asking God before he takes steps and make moves.

This is done in his presence as we wait upon him, sometimes seeking his face in prayer and fasting. If you’re going to take major decisions it is advisable you wait upon the Lord in prayer, seek his guidance and counsel, as you wait he will definitely guide you.

Waiting upon him makes your thoughts, desires, expectations come to past, it will prevent you from making mistakes. God bless you.

PRAYER.
* As we wait upon the Lord today ask for his guidance in life and destiny.
