PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
Topic: DARE THAT DEVIL
Text: James 4:7KJV
7 Submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee.
The word DARE is an action word which literally means to confront a thing or someone, also means to defy or challenge someone to something. Devil is a person or anything that is associated with evil, meaning Satan, his agents and every works of darkness are devils. Dare that devil therefore means to confront that evil personality or that work of evil in and around your life.
The word DARE can be broken down as a acronym to mean
* DESTROY: There is nothing good about evil works where it is seen or experienced, evil work in itself is associated with destruction and what Jesus came to do is to destroy the works of the devil according to 1 John 3:8,
….for this purpose the Son of God was made manisfest that he might destroy the works of the devil.
So you have got to destroy every evil works in all that pertains to you.
* ARREST: By arrest, I mean you need to address that devil or that evil parading your life, family and business. You stand and watch evil spreading in your’s, you don’t fold arms seeing the works of darkness having a fun day over your’s, you have got to address and arrest them. Ephesians 4:27 says
Neither give place to the devil,
meaning you must put a stop to that thing you don’t like happening in your life and family, address them, arrest them and put an end to it.
* RESIST: James 4:7 says
Submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee.
Resist means to fight against or oppose something or someone. Devil, his agents and their activities must be opposed. If you give the devil or evil a space in your life, home and business, he will not stop until he has spread his tents occupying more spaces and areas in your life and home. So you must oppose them with force, putting up a strong resistance against there activities.
* EVICT: This means to expel someone from a property. That is the final step to do in daring the devil, you need to evict him totally out of your life, home and business. Send him out by force, ensure there is no hidding place for evil to reside in your life and family, forcefully show him the way out of your things permanently.
Beloved, DARE that devil, stand fast in the liberty that Christ has given you and let God be gloried in your life. God bless you
* Father, I receive power to dare the devil in Jesus Name.
