Topic: THE PEACE OF THY CHILDREN.
Text : Isaiah 54:13-15.
13: And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14: In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15: Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Our desire is to see our children live in peace, every parent wants to see his or her children live a trouble free life, and we work towards that with passion. We go through stress to ensure they are comfortable, so much sacrifice we make to see them live well. I am glad to announce to you that there are scriptures that talked about their peace.
Finding scripture for issues of life or a challenge is synonymous to finding medicine for a particular ailment that has taken so much. It is good to know that God is talking about your desire. When you find scripture (bible passage) for a matter it means God is interested in that matter and he has spoken about it, and you can be sure that his words will come to pass.
The good news here, first of all is that God is mindful of what bothers you, and he has spoken about it. It is like the government of your nation making a law in your favour, a law that is in favour of your business, how excited will you be? So, it is great to know that God didn’t just make a law but also a decree about the peace of our children.
It is like you trying to be wealthy and God made a pronouncement that you will be wealthy, you can be sure it is a done deal. As you make effort to ensure the peace of your children God is committed to ensuring they live in peace.
There are cases of 2 children in PREVALING FAMILY INTERNATIONAL, our ministry, who were diagnosed with serious health challenges, one was under intensive care at the Lagos State teaching Hospital for a month or even more, only the mother had access to him, I told the mother carry him on your hands and speak to him, ‘ I am carrying you home alive and healthy ‘, the boy is very sound in health today. The other child was diagnosed with a disease that requires surgery in the heart, when the mother heard the news, she rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the girl’s body, the next day doctor checked her and said the girl is good to go home.
Devil will come with all sorts of evil, you have the responsibility of believing what God says about your children and decree it into their lives. Peace is the portion of your children, their health shall not fail them, their lives shall not be troubled, they shall not know affliction in the name of Jesus.
