Topic : PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS
Text : 2 Corinthians 10:4KJV
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
Strongholds as the word implies are holds (grip, grasp, cluth, clasp) that are strong (tough, rugged, vigorous). So they are tough, rugged and wicked forces that are capable of stopping a man in the journey of life. A man under the bondage and captivity of strongolds, always struggle through life, things become difficult, nothing seems to work, things are just upside down and then result into frustration. Such a man labours so hard but have nothing to show for the labour.
Glory to God that we are empowered to pull down strongholds in our lives and in the lives of others. From our text above, the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to destroy strongholds, and as we wait on God in fasting and prayer today, every strongholds in our lives will be destroyed in Jesus Name.
PRAYER:
* Father, I destroy every stronghold of darkness slowing me down in the journey of life in Jesus Name
* Every force of darkness warring against my life and family be destroyed
* Every stumbling block that has caused me to be stagnated be removed right now
* Whatever strengthen the activities of strongholds in my family be paralysed in Jesus Name
* Father, I decree no weapon fashioned against me shall proper in Jesus Name
* Every accomplished works of darkness in my life be destroyed in Jesus Name
* I decree in the name above every other names that evil trend is terminated in my family
* Whatever stopped my parents in life will not stop me and my children in Jesus Name
