DAY 3 OF SPECTACULAR ACTS.
Topic: SANCTIFICATION
Text : Hebrews 8:8-12.
8: For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
The word sanctification is from the word sanctify, it means make pure or free from sin and guilt. Guilt takes it root in the heart, every man’s heart is naturally wicked, how do I know? Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? A dirty heart cannot offer acceptable praise or prayer, God searches our heart, he looks at our hearts first before our words and actions.
Look at Jeremiah 17:10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. If your heart is dirty you will obviously get bad result. Every deed proceeds from the heart and if you must please God the condition of your heart matters.
No wonder David said in Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. He understood that his praises and prayer will amount to nothing if his heart is dirty.
From our text Hebrews 8: 8-11 we discovered that God himself is set to cleanse our hearts, put his laws in our minds and write them upon our hearts.
Anger, wrath, evil thoughts, bitterness, envy, malice, lust, pride, high mindedness are signs that your heart is dirty. Ask God to sanctify your heart this day. God bless you.

* Create in me clean heart oh Lord.
* Deliver me from anger.
* Cleanse my heart from evil thoughts.
* Put your laws in my mind.
* Write your commandments upon my heart.
* Captivate my heart oh Lord.
* Deliver me from bitterness.
* I receive freedom from lust in Jesus name.
* Ask God for anything.
