Topic: FOES OF A GLORIOUS FAMILY…Part 3.
Text : 2 Songs of Solomon 2:15.

15: Catch all the foxes, those little foxes, before they ruin the vineyard of love, for the grapevines are blossoming!

A preacher of the gospel of Christ must preach the full gospel. Let me press further as I discuss other foes that do not allow a family to run smoothly.
* SPIRITUAL FACTOR: some do not believe this, some teachers of marital affairs simply believe that problems in marriage are just man made and can always be resolved when the couples understand themselves. You must understand that there are spiritual undertone in most cases. Crisis, poverty, untimely death in families most times take their roots in the spirit. Someone narrated to me how a family of 7 children are doing badly, of course there are graduates among them, and the ones having good jobs among them had issues that led to huge debts.
When you notice a particular bad experience in your family linage, and you see common ill experience happening to some members of your family, happening in their marriages, obviously, they are spiritual cases. For instance you notice break ups, or other marital crisis common in the homes of your siblings, you have to pray. Sometimes we feel counseling can take the place of prayer, no sir, counseling has it place while prayer has it place.
In spiritual cases there are always signs that will want to make you think they are mere issues that common sense can resolve but when you look deeply they have spiritual undertone.
* CURSES: this is another strong enemy of a glorious family, curses and spells. You see a beautiful lady unable to settle down, not because she does not want to, but spells will not permit her, spells upon a man or woman will not permit him or her to build a glorious home. You see a lady who can’t settle for a man not because she doesn’t make commitment to ensure her marriage works, but because there is a spell. There are cases of men whose wives left them for no justifiable reason, it is most likely the result of a spell.
The good news is this; there is cure for every spell, curse and spiritual enchantment. Since it is a spiritual problem it can only be solved spiritually.
Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God shared a story of 2 men fighting: one told the other, ‘ by the time I am through with you there will be no sign that you passed through this world ‘, after a short time, the man to whom that was said died. The family travelled for his funeral, on their way back home there was an accident which claimed the lives of 2 of his children, their mother heard the news and died. The killer recked so much havoc in that family. There was a young man in the family still living, he decided not to kill him but ran him mad, neighbors who know the story of the family decided that this last one must be saved and so they took him to Pastor E. A. Adeboye for deliverance.
Your case might not be as serious as that of the family, but when you sense strange things in and around your family stand against it through prayer. Please note, ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT, you can’t conquer spiritual battles if you are not born again. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Lord, I stand against every spell, curse, enchantment against my family in the name of Jesus.
