Topic: THE SECRET OF STRENGTH….Part 5
Text: Proverbs 24:10KJV

10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

We want to draw the curtain on this series today as we will discuss some top secrets and they are forces that drain strength. No matter how great a person is, no matter the exploit such a man has achieved in life if these forces surfaced in such a life he becomes as weak as a leaf. Some of these forces are:
* SORROW/WEEPING: Sorrow brings about weeping and it results in discouragement. When a man experiences sorrow, he consoles himself by weeping, these two twin forces drain the strength of any man no matter how great. David and his mighty men are good examples according to 1 Samuel 30, when the army of Philistines came to their land in Ziklag and took way everything they had, David and his men were sorrowful for their loss and wept greatly until they had no more strength to weep. While they were weeping the mighty men of David who were loyal to him and had conquered territories with him in the past, nursed it in their hearts to stone David their leader to death. It’s important you know that sorrow and weeping is not of God, it is however a potential tool of the devil to weaken the strength of any person. I pray you will not experience sorrow in Jesus Name.
* SIN/SEPARATION: Sin is a top force that drains strength. Devil knows that the ultimate strength of any man is God and that one with God is a majority and not a minority, therefore his main target to bring such fellow down is to separate him from the source of his strength (God), and that he achieves by introducing sin. Samson was a great man with incomparable strength from God to deliver Israel from the Philistines but sin in his life (lust for women) made him a weakling, sin turned him to become a slave to his enemies and his case was so critical that he asked God to die with his enemies and that was what happened to him. Sin is a sinker, it is a weakener, and a drainer of strength. Once sin separates a man from his God, he becomes a potential prey to the devil.
Beloved, the scripture says we should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil and went further to say in Ephesian 4:27 that neither give place to the devil. Let no sorrow weigh you down and let no sin separate you from God. God bless you
PRAYER:
* Father, let be not be ignorant of the devices of the devil against my life in Jesus Name.
