Topic: MAKING IMPACT…part 2.
Text: Judges 4:4,5.

4: And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
5: She would sit under the Palm of Deborah, between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites would go to her for judgment.

Deborah made great impact in Israel, she was able to function in 3 capacities. What a DILIGENT woman she must have been? She was not childless, she must have gotten children, she took her place in the home as a mother.
Everyone who makes impact in his or her generation takes diligence as a watchword, you can’t make impact without being diligent. Deborah must have timed herself, programed her activities in attending to Lapidoth as his wife, attending to her children as a mother, attending to Israel as a prophetess and a judge.
Being a prophetess and a judge are 2 separate things, though prophets judge Isreal in those days, but they are 2 different offices, it is like saying being a governor of a state and being the general overseer of a church, she didn’t fail in any.
Look at verse 5: And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. She got herself a name to the point that there is a tree called the tree of Deborah. She had some much influence to the point that Israel accepted her as a judge.
Deborah was BOLD, everyone who makes impact is not afraid of situations, circumstances, challenges, difficulties etc. Deborah followed the army of Israel to war, Barak was sure that if Deborah could go with them victory is certain.
Deborah brought great deliverance to Israel, she delivered them from the hand of Jabin and Sisera. Judges 5:7 will interest you, Look at it here: There were few people left in the villages of Israel— until Deborah arose as a mother for Israel. NLT. Israel reduced until Deborah arose, when she surface, Israel began to increase and multiply, what a great impact?
If you can rise, you will bring joy to many people, when you decide to make impact in the lives of people and you’re committed to it you will become a blessing to many people.
The last verse of Judges 5, verse 31, is what you will like to know, look at it here: So let all thine enemies perish, O Lord: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years. Rest came upon the land of Israel because an impact maker called Deborah took her place in destiny, you and I need to take our place in destiny so that we can be blessings to our generation.
If Deborah could judge Israel you can be sure she controlled the resources of Israel, resource control becomes part of the duty of an impact maker, in other words, money will flow into your hands. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Help me Lord, to take my place in destiny in Jesus name.
