Prevailing Voice Daily 4th May

4th May.
Text : Psalms 128: 1-6.

1: Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
2: For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3: Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4: Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5: The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6: Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.

I just want to establish 2 points more, but before then let me make something clear here: God’s word is meant to correct or put in order whatever is out of order in our lives, it is like when someone is sick and the doctor prescribe drugs and the sick person took it and he or she is made whole. God’s word put in place whatever is out place.

When you see things going wrong in your life there are prescriptions by the author of life, when you see things working in opposite direction of what God said understand that God’s word is correct while the negative occurrence is not right about your life.

Permit me to share a life story of a woman: there was a track record of barrenness in her family. She gave her life to Christ and was trusting God for the fruit of the womb, she approached a man of God after waiting for a good number of years, she went complaining say, ‘ I was told to give my life to Christ, I have done that, I have prayed but no child yet ‘, as she was talking to the man of God, God spoke to his man in clear terms, he said, ‘ your father and a man fought over a piece of land, your father blindfolded the man and the man laid a curse on your family that no one shall be fruitful ‘. The woman left the man of God to shut the door against herself and began to quotes the word of God back to God, and God showed her mercy.

She simply understood that God’s word is superior to any situation and circumstance, what God says is the truth about her life and marriage not what the doctors said. In our passage today God is saying, ‘ YOU SHALL BE FRUITFUL ‘, verse 3 of our passage is the truth about your marriage, it is the master plan, look at it here: Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

Verse 6 is a slap on the devil 6: Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel (your country). Fruitfulness is your portion. Barreness is not of God, no matter the report of any test, God’s word is the master report, every other report submit to that, I see you carry your children, I see you playing with your children’s children if Jesus tarries.

Simple quote God’s word back to him. If you have children pray for those who don’t have around you. Barreness is not of God.

* I shall not be barren.
* My children shall not be barren in Jesus name.

Isaiah 9, 1 Corinthians 10.
