Topic: LOOK UP……Part 4

5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.

In part three if this devotional topic we said we can look up to God in faith and in prayer. Today we want to round it off discussing looking up to God through the scriptures.
The word of God is God himself, he gave us his words to change our world, to move God himself on our behalf, to bring situations under control, to bring hope from hopeless situations, to destroy the works of darkness and to live victoriously on earth even in the midst of troubles. We can look up to God through his words, that is the word of God connects us to God and when we get connected to God, he gives Revelations and instructions to overcome your challenges.
One important way to look up to God through his word is declaring that “IT IS WRITTEN“, God responds to you when you say “it is written”, devils obey when you declare “it is written”, circumstances bow and mountains shift when you say “it is written”. To God “it is written” means you have faith and you believe in his words, it means you know God’s promises for you, it means you know what God had said in the scriptures concerning you. To the devil, “it is written” means you are not ignorant of God’s promises concerning you, it means a child of authority is speaking.
Beloved there are so many things written in the scriptures for your uplifting, great words that can put the enemies to flight. For example it is written in Psalms 91:7 “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee“. It went further to say only with thy eyes shall ye behold the reward of the wicked. Dear reader, don’t joke with the scriptures they are powerful, quick and sharp (Hebrews 4:12), they are spirit and life (John 6:63) and God magnifies his words more than his name (Psalms 138:2).
As I conclude, to look up to God through his words, you must search the scriptures, study the scriptures, meditate on the scriptures, declare the scriptures by faith and pray the scriptures into manifestation. God bless you
