Text : Luke 14:28-30.
28: For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29: Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30: Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
God answers prayers, but most times not in our own way. He determines the methods of answering our prayers, as long as a need is met, either in a way you expect or the other way round, the fact is that the need is met.
Most time when people pray, they expect release of blessings in abundance at once, they expect a sudden release, sometimes we wonder; why can’t God just do it once? Hear what he says in Isaiah 55:8; For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
His thoughts are higher than ours because what he sees we do not see. When praying to God for a mega breakthrough, most times, breakthrough comes, but not in a mega form, it comes in bit, if probably you’re trusting God for a breakthrough of $100,000, most times it doesn’t come at once, but God releases it, it can come at first in a thousand dollars, at another time ten thousand dollars, and keep coming in that order, after a period of time you will discover that you’re approaching a hundred thousand dollars.
In other way, you might get ten thousand dollars, and with good planning with productive business you get another five thousand dollars, that keeps coming regularly because of the investment you have made.
Every rich man understands this principle, you don’t need to wait for a hundred thousand dollars, you just need to plan a good source of income with the one you have gotten. It is wrong to expect that there will be a regular flow without planning towards it. Everyone without productive plans ends up stranded, a rich man without progressive and productive plan will soon become broke. With your financial status now you can rise to a great heights if you have a productive plan.
You look at the parable of the talents in Matthew 25: 14-29, everyone of them was expected to trade with it and make profit, this same way God expects us to be productive. God might not give you so much like you expect, but will give you what you can trade with that will bring about bigger income. Financial breakthrough is not comeby without plans and strategies, you gat to make plans for the next five years, ten years and more. God bless you.
