Text: Deuteronomy 28:13KJV
13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
The scriptures says ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32), many are bound and enslaved because of their ignorance of the truth of God’s word, and I tell you the truth, ignorance is not an excuse and besides ignorance they say is a disease. One of such truth from the word of God which I choose to personalise is that I AM BLESSED.
There are many in life who operate under curses not because they cannot be blessed but simply because they are ignorant, and so today we want to consider just a few reason why I (you/we are) AM BLESSED.
* I HAVE GOD: The source of blessings is God, he releases blessing upon his children. So any one who have God, I mean anyone who knows God and God is with him is blessed. Romans 8: 31 says it all that “… If God is for us, who can ever be against us? ” If God is with you, and no one can stand against you, then obviously you are blessed.
* I AM A SEED OF ABRAHAM: A common local song is sang “Abraham’s blessings are mine(2x), I am blessed in the morning, I am blessed in the evening, Abraham’s blessings are mine. The seed of Abraham is blessed according to Genesis 12:2-3, such that anyone who blesses them is blessed and anyone who curses them is cursed, through Abraham shall all families of the earth be blessed. Now you and I are seed of Abraham by faith because we are joint heirs with Christ who is a seed of Abraham.
* I AM A KING: Revelation 5:10says And have made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Of course you know that a king is a blessed fellow because he commands respect, he rules over others and judges others. Beloved, we are blessed because Christ has made us kings and priest unto God and we are to reign on earth.
Dear reader, above are just a few truth of the scriptures that you are blessed, as you know this truth today, believe it and walk consciously in it. God bless you
