PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
18th March
Topic: FINANCIAL FORTUNE…part 3.
Text: Job 22:27.

27: Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

Still on financial fortune, let me say again that God wants us to prosper in our daily living, the prosperity is not limited to that of our soul. Look at this scripture; 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. First of all what is prosperity of the soul? It is living to please your maker. Living in righteousness and holiness, living a life that will guarantee your soul eternal rest.
When someone dies people say, ‘ may his soul rest in peace ‘, ‘ may ‘ in the statement connotes a wish, they are only wishing his soul peace after death in the body, because the soul of a man does not die, you can read more about the soul of man in my book titled DISCOVERING TREASURES THROUGH YOUR SPIRIT-MAN. A prosperous soul is a soul that is living with the assurance of reigning with God eternally.
Now the writer of 3rd John said , ‘ I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper…’ remember that all scriptures are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, now the Holy Spirit desires that everyone whose soul prospers should prosper in all ramifications. That is, God desires anyone who lives in righteousness and holiness prosper financially and in health.
If God desires that I prosper, but I am not prospering, there is obviously something I am missing, it is either I am missing the direction he is giving for my prosperity or I am not doing something right.
Look at this beloveth; Job 22: 27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows. I have heard people say don’t make vows because there will be consequences if you don’t pay them, that’s true, but there are blessings when you make vows and pay them. Hannah made a vow before getting Samuel. 1 Samuel 1:11 She vowed, saying, O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your handmaid and [earnestly] remember, and not forget Your handmaid but will give me a son, I will give him to the Lord all his life; no razor shall touch his head. Amplified.
Making a commitment for the work of God brings you financial fortune, when God gives you money and you devote it to his work you can be sure of blessings. Look at another scripture; Proverbs 3:9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: this is stated in clear terms, I don’t need to explain that. Look at the verse that follows it ; verse 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Vows, pledges, donations that are fulfilled attract abundance of blessings upon one’s life and family. Make vows, and pledges and be committed to paying them, you will simply be signing in for financial fortune. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Let help me Lord, to honour you with my substance always.
