Prevailing Voice Daily 3rd March

3rd March
Text: Exodus 32:26KJV

26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

In part 2, we considered how to respond to God’s service with biblical examples as reference.

As we round off on this topic today, we want to established that an opportunity to serve God is an opportunity to be blessed and become a blessing to others.

Beloved the service am talking here is beyond just going to church for service or programs but surrendering yourself to be used by God for his service, it is about doing the work of the master, it is about being a vessel, medium or avenue through which God reaches out to others. So when you give God your service, he blesses you in return, because God does not owe any man, anything, and so he releases blessings upon you as you do his business. The blessings is all encompassing and it can come in various forms as you have needs, it could be provision, healing, deliverance, prosperity, favour, goodness, fruitfulness e.t.c

Aparr from being blessed, God can also make you a blessing to others as you serve him. He can release his anointing upon you, he could baptise you with gift of the Holy spirit (1Corinthians 12) such as gift of healing, faith, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tounges, words of wisdom and knowledge, prophesy e.t c. These gifts turn you into a carrier of God’s spirit and power and so God can meet the needs of others through you. Reading through entire book of Acts are the records of the great exploits done through the Apostles in their days, so great it was that the shadow of Peter and the aprons from the body of Paul healed the sick.

Beloved, an opportunity to serve is an opportunity to be blessed and become a blessing, so do more than just going to church for worship or service, be a vessel through which others can be reached by God for salvation, healing, deliverance, blessings e.t.c. God bless you

* Father, as I serve you pour your blessings on me and release your anointing upon me in Jesus Name

Proverbs 3, John 9.
