Topic: YOUR ROUTE TO DESTINY..Part 2.
Text : Isaiah 45:2,3.
2: I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3: I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron
Wrong route can’t lead to right destination, many people are where they are today because they have taken wrong route in life. Life cannot be enjoyable if a man misses his way to destiny, I see people pick up career, I see people start business without specific direction, I see people change location without the direction of the Holy Ghost.
You must understand that there is a particular direction you must go if you must fulfill your destiny. Let me give you an example you can relate with, it was obvious that my life is moving in direction of ministry, from primary 5 people could see the move of God when I preach. Does that mean I shouldn’t do anything other thing? NO, I took up a secular job which I wouldn’t permit to affect the ministry, and as I make money it is also to support the ministry.
If I just do ministry alone, most likely I might be missing it. I must remain focus in ministry and at the same time work or do business that will be a source of fund to the ministry.
Now if I major in something else other than ministry, I will be missing it. You must find out your core area, you are to major in one thing, that’s a true description of your destiny, that doesn’t mean you can’t do other things to support yourself, as you do other things you must understand that you have core area.
In schools, in those days we had core course, and borrowed course, of course, you know you can’t afford to fail your core course, likewise in life, you can’t afford to fail in your core area, it is a light to your destiny. If you miss this basic understanding you miss a treasure in life. Too many people live purposelessly, many live pursueing other people’s dreams, that’s basically a route to frustration.
When you have taken the right route in life, does it mean your journey will be smooth without challenges? No sir/ma, the difference is that God will go before you and make your crooked places straight. Since you’re on the right track you can be sure of his support. He will go before you, clear the way, remove obstacles, break mountains, level the valley, smoothen your path. And as long as you have his support you will go places. God bless you.
* As we wait upon the Lord today, let’s ask for direction to destiny.
