    Text: Psalms 24: 7-8KJV

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

God is not only referred to as the strong and mighty, but also called the mighty in battle according to our scriptural text above.
God is mighty in battle, when God fights a battle for any man, home, people or nation, victory is sure, he never and can never lose a battle. He cannot be defeated, and so whoever fights against you when God is fighting for you is in a very big trouble.
God is mighty in battle because when he fights for you, you will eventually pity your enemies or even plead to God for mercy on behalf of your adversary. In Numbers 12, when Aaron and Mirian spoke against Moses, God defended Moses by making Mariam a leper, Moses had to plead on her behalf. I pray God will deal with your enemies such that they will bow before you crying for mercy in Jesus Name.
God is also dynamic in battle, unlike the conventional means of going to war with sword, spear, shield e.t.c, he can fight battle in different ways and through different means. In 2 Chronicles 20, he fought for Judah with praises on the battle field. The Israelites praised God, and as they were praising him he turned their enemies against each other until they were all destroyed. So Israel won a great battle without lifting a sword rather they played their instruments of praises to God.
For Gideon in the book of Judges 7, God choose to change the style of battle, reducing 32000 soldiers to 300 soldiers to go for war against a great nation, and when Gideon came back victorious, it was obvious that it was not their strength that gave them victory but God.
Beloved, time wont permit me to share more scriptures that God is mighty in battle, but I decree today that God will fight your battles in the Jesus Name.
* Father, you are the mighty in battle, fight all my battles for me in Jesus Name.
Psalms 131, Luke 9
