Text: Revelation 3:8 .

8: I know your [record of] works and what you are doing. See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name. Amplified.

The focus in part 1 was physical and mental approach to keeping your doors open, it is absolutely important we look at the spiritual aspect of this; I would have love to do a list of ways and methods of keeping your doors open, but I have a leading in my spirit to explain our text.
It is important you give attention to all scriptures especially words spoken by Jesus and God himself, you must have come across bibles that have Jesus’ words printed in red ink, it is a way of laying emphasis on those words.
Revelation 1:1 described the author of the book of revelation, loot at it here: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John. It is called the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him.
Revelation 3:7 also described the author, tells us the person that is speaking to John, look at it here; And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth and no man openeth.
The person who is speaking in verse 8 has ability to open and no one will be able to shut, and when he shut no one will be a able to open. This same person is saying, ‘ I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it ..‘ Jesus is saying the kind of door I am opening for you, no one will be able to shut it, no adversary, no power from anywhere either from father’s or mother’s house (as some will say) will be able to shut it.
I don’t know how you feel when you read scriptures like this one I am sharing here, but I feel like something touched my spirit, I feel like it is settled, I feel like this word is for me and because Jesus said it, it is bound to come to pass, I have lived my life believing scriptures like this from my teenages, and my life is transformation through them.
This scripture means, you’re unstoppable, you can’t be limited, you can’t be stagnanted, you can’t be delayed.
Jesus went further to tell us why he is doing this, look at verse 8 again: ‘ for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name ‘. This is self explanatory; he does this for anyone who keeps his words.
By ‘ a little strength ‘, he meant the temptation is high, but amidst the temptations you kept my word, it means though it wasn’t easy but you kept my words amidst trials, you had reasons to disobey, but you understand that no excuse is genuine enough to disobey my words, and so you chose to keep my words, I am glad to announce to you that you have not done all that in vain, as a result of your obedience to my words, in spite all challenges around your life I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU AN OPEN DOOR, AND NO MAN CAN SHUT IT.
If I were you, I will ask for grace to keep his words at all times. God bless you.
* As we wait upon the Lord today, let’s renew our commitment to his words.
* Tell him to keep your doors of prosperity, breakthrough, success, lifting open.
Psalms 130, Luke 8.
