Topic: THE STRONG AND THE MIGHTY
Text: Ecclesiastes 9:11KJV

11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

In the class of men, there are those called and recognised as the strong and the mighty, they are regarded as such because of what they had acquire on earth. Some are regarded as such because of their wealth which gives them a great deal of influence over many others, some because of the position, power or authority bestowed on them e.g A president of a nation while in power is considered a strong and mighty personnel, likewise a king who rules over a kingdom is also considered a strong and mighty person.
Even the scriptures recognises that there are men who are strong just as there are men who are wise, skillful and full of understanding but they are limited by time and by chance. In others words, it’s all a matter of time, that king or president who is strong and mighty today because they are in power may tomorrow become ordinary men because their time or tenor of ruling has expired. Also by chance or circumstances a mighty man in power today can be dethroned and suddenly becomes an ordinary man.
Psalms 24:8 talks about a king who is strong and mighty, his name is the King of Glory and the Lord of host. He is incomparable and there is no match with him in heavens, on earth and beneath the earth. He is not limited by time nor constrain be chance. Isaiah 9:7 says there is no end to his government meaning he reigns and rules forever. When he comes and reign in any life, gates are lifted, mountains bow down, seas roar, valleys are leveled. One special things he does is that he can fight your battles for you while you hold you peace.
In Exodus 14, the Israelites were encompassed about with battles, ahead of them was the red sea and behind were the army of Egypt and their chariots but God who is the strong and mighty fought on their behalf such that the Egyptian said ” God is agianst them for Israel’s sake” See Exodus 14:25 “And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.”. I decree that the Lord strong and mighty will fight all your battles for you in Jesus Name.
Beloved, just hand it over to him and he will fight for you. God bless you.
PRAYER:
* Father, you are the strong and mighty, please fight all my battles for me in Jesus Name.
