5: His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

It is important I tidy up this series, the activities in the past days brought interlude. I need to tidy this up here, I have 3 series of teaching to run at the same time;
1, Open doors. 2, Raised to bless. 3. Blessedness of a home and of course, you can be sure that Pastor. Stephen will always deliver God’s word with ease. Please don’t miss any of these teachings.
It is important you know that when God is angry with a set of people he won’t send his words to them, receiving his word is a confirmation of his love towards us. I want to advice you to quit a church where God’s word is not being taught if you must to grow spiritally, and prosper in all ramifications. Going to a church that is just prophesies oriented will not help you. Sound biblical teachings will help your relationship with God which guarantees your success in life.
In John chapter 2, Jesus attended a wedding in Cana of Galilee and their wine finished suddenly. if you don’t understand the importance of wine (wine, not strong drink, not alcoholic) in a function, you wouldn’t know it was a matter of shame to the couples. They ran out of wine. Most probably, difficult to get wine where they were.
Look at verse 3: And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. Hear what Jesus said: Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. This is like saying what concerns me? How does finishing of wine affects me? ‘ What have I to do with you? ‘ is like saying, ‘ am I the one hosting the wedding? ‘.
Jesus’ response was like he is not ready to do any favours for them, not ready to perform any miracle. He was like ‘ go and find solution your problem ‘. My focus here is the attitude of Mary, Jesus’ mother, look at verse 5; His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. I see Mary saying, ‘ just stay with him, don’t leave him, as you stay and wait for him, he will tell you what to do, and whatever he tells you to do, do it ‘.
Mary knew quite right that the waiting will produce instructions that will lead to a miracle. You see, many people want miracles without instructions, they just want God to do somethings in theirs lives without they willing to listen to his instructions. That isn’t God’s method, rather he wants us to listen to his instructions then miracles, testimonies, breakthroughs, lifting, promotions, prosperity, successes will follow.
If your life is void of divine instructions your success is not certain, as you listen to his voice, obey his words (divine instructions) great will be your testimony.
You want to ask; how do I hear him? Simple: just take your quiet time serious, he will speak in the method you will understand. Quiet time is the time you worship God, pray and study the bible privately. It is always good in the early hours of the day. God bless you.

* Lord, help me to wait on you for instructions.
