Topic: ENVIED BY ANGELS… Part 2
Text: 2nd Corinthians 6:14-16KJV

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

In part 1, we discussed that man is envied by angels because he was created to have dominion, multiply, replenish the earth and was given a promise to sit with Jesus on His throne if he overcomes.
Today we want to go a step further that if man is envied by angels certainly HE CANNOT BE PITIED BY MEN. Its important you understand that we are not just talking about any man here but a man born of the spirit, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. All men are not of the same category, some are spiritually minded, hence they walk in light while others are carnally minded, living and operating in darkness (Romans 8).
By every parameters, light superceeds darkness, when light shines darkness flees completely, no matter how thick the darkness, a little light will break it off, darkness is subject to light and not the other way round.
A spiritual man is connected to God above, while a carnal man is connected to the devil below, and so as God is in charge above so is a spiritual man in charge, no wonder Deuteronomy 28:13 says “And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath;” Also in Matt 16:19, Jesus said “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven“. From these scriptures it is clear that a spiritual man carrying the light of God is in charge here earth, envied by angels above and fallen angels beneath yet cannot be pitied by a natural man in this life.
Though he goes through a difficult time, yet he is master above situations and circumstances because according to Luke 10:19, he has been given power to thread on serpent and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing will hurt him by any means. Though darkness tries to over shadow him, still he is not a subject of pity because he is stii in charge, how? Just a decree from him according to Job 22:28 their shall be light on his path. The man called Job in the bible, was seriously afflicted, he lost everything he had in life, it was so bad that his wife abandoned him and advised him to rather curse God and die. Yet in all of these, the Bible said, Job did not sin against God, he did not give up and he gave no room for pity from his friends, as a matter of fact, Job still prayed for his friends even in his critical condition and then finally God restored him. He overcame.
Beloved, what category of men do you belong to? A spiritual man or a carnal man? A man envied by angels and cannot be pitied by men or a man oppressed by demons and ridiculed by men?. Make your choice today, but as for me I choose to walk in light, born of the spirit, envied by angels, terror to demons and can’t be pitied by men. God bless you.

* Father, I refuse to be subjected to circumstances of life, I decree light all around me because you have made me the head in Jesus Name.
