Topic: LIFE IS GOOD….part 2.

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In part 1, we said a good life on earth is a function of light, which is Jesus Christ. Today we want to discuss about another life beyond the earth and that is eternal life.
As a child of God, a good life on earth is incomparable to a good life in eternity, the difference is clear. That’s why Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:19 that “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” So it means we have hope in Christ to live a good life on earth and more importantly we have hope in him for a good life in eternity.
The question then is, what are the requirement to a good life in eternity?:
* Jesus Christ: No Jesus no life, no Jesus, no eternity with God. A life on earth without Jesus Christ is a life guilty of sin, condemned to death (Romans 8:1) and punishable in hell  forever (Revelation 20:15). Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one can spend eternity with God in heaven except through Jesus Christ. So, you’ve got to accept Jesus Christ today as your saviour if you desire a good life on earth and afterwards.
* Be An Overcomer: There are bountiful rewards for those who overcomes on earth as recorded in the following scriptures:
Rev 2:7 …To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Rev 2:11 ….He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 2:26-28 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And I will give him the morning star.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Rev 3:12 Him overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. What a good life for the overcomers in eternity.
Beloved, as you desire a good life on earth, much more should you desire a good life in eternity with God in heaven and not a life of pain and agony in hell with the devil. Indeed life is good with God in eternity. God bless you

* Father, help me to reign with you in eternity in Jesus Name.
