Topic: WORD SERIES…part 4.
Text : John 1:1-3
1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2: The same was in the beginning with God.
3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
I want to do 2 things here ;
1, Show you that everything in the world is made by word.
2, Your life is a function of words.
Nothing exist without words, let’s take some examples here; every product has a manual, the manual contains written words that make the product function. Instructions were followed for a product to be made, a house is built base on instructions (words), your tables, chairs, air-conditioner, your wrist watches, jeweries were all made by instructions (words).
Those words were first spoken and then written for others to learn, no single thing exists on this Earth without words, our passage here refers to Jesus as the word of God, that’s not the focus here, that’s for another time, verse 3 says, ‘ All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. Amplified.
No single thing ever came into manifestation without first speaking it out, this means that life functions by words, both living things and non-living things came to existence by words.
What about man? He is not exempted, words were spoken for him to manifest, he was made in process and by process, God spoke and gave instructions, instructions about his look, his eyes, his head, his hands and legs etc.
Now listen to this; whatever you are today is a function of the words that you have heard in process of time, and how you have reacted to them. What you have become today is made possible by your reactions to the words you have heard since the time of your birth. You want to say; ‘ No! I disagree, that there are things I didn’t consent to, that manifested in my life ‘, but your spirit consented to them, don’t forget that you’re made up of a spirit, a soul and a body, so, if there is anything that you didn’t give your consent before its manifestation in your life, it is because your spirit did not reject it.
A doctor use to be a student of a college of medicine, he must have listened to instructions, teachings (spoken and written words) in medical line, after passing his exams, a proof that he understood the instructions given, he is confirmed a doctor, likewise an engineer, an accountant, a prostitute must have been wrongly informed.
If nothing is made without words, it therefore means that everything responds and reacts to words. If wrong words are spoken to the life a man in the process of time his life will be wrong, so, if you see a man whose life is wrong obviously, he has been accessing wrong information. To get your life right, you must always access right information, the word of God will always inform anyone rightly, take the study of God’s word serious, don’t be tired of reading revelational and impactful teachings like PREVAILING VOICE DAILY. As you search the scriptures; the bible, your life will take right shape. I will share more as we continue in this series. God bless you.
