Topic: PART OF BEING ALIVE
Text: Job 22:28-29KJV
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.
It is well known that life is naturally a mixture of the good and the bad, there could be ups and down times in life, as some experience the sweetness of life some experience the bitterness of life even Job 14:1 says it that a man’s life is of few days and those days are full of trouble. Years ago, as I was growing up, I once lived with a bachelor, whom, when unpleasant things happen to him he would console himself saying it’s part of being alive.
The question is for you as a child of God, is evil part of your being alive? is it God’s will?
Let’s take a look at two scriptures. Though evil and unpleasant things may be part of life of a natural man but as a man born of the spirit you are given authority to change things.
Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
So the first thing is to decree what you want into your life, say that evil is not part of your life, declare it that you are exempted from unpleasant circumstances that men are subjected to in life. Note this; As you decree there will be light on your path. It means the darkness according to Isaiah 60:2 that covers the life of a natural man will be replace by light in your life as you decree.
Secondly, it is crystal clear that God’s purpose and desire for his own is good and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11), Job 22:29 confirms it; When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up;…, so it means your case is different, that when men are cast down physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially e.t.c, for you there shall be lifting. Henceforth, I decree that evils of life will not be a part of your life in Jesus Name.
As I conclude, God has made a provision for you to be victorious in life, but you got your part to play, you got to use your mouth to decree and you heart to believe that you are exempted from evil, that there shall be light and not darkness in and around you, that there shall be lifting for you in every way and on every side. God bless you.

* Father, I decree that evil and unpleasant situations shall not be a part of my life in Jesus Name.
