Topic: AN ENDLESS LIFE
Text : Daniel 12:1-3

1: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

In the place of prayer this morning, the Holy Spirit dropped this message in my spirit, and believe me honestly, it is heavy in my spirit. The human life is unending, everyone is given an endless life, how do I know?
In Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. God has an endless life, and because man is created in his image, his life is also endless, verse 2 of Daniel 12 also confirms that.
You want to say but God pronounced death on man in the Bible, just follow me as I explain the 3 types of death that was mentioned in the Bible. Death is defined as departure from life.

• THE FIRST DEATH in Genesis 2:17 he talked about the first death, remember the definition of death is departure from life, this is a departure from the life of the spirit, the spirit life is not control by flesh, not conscious of the activities of the flesh, this is basically the reason they were unaware that they were naked. The death was a departure from the life of the spirit to a carnal life.

• THE SECOND DEATH was pronounced in Genesis 3: 19 … for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. This is the departure from life on this Earth , it is simply an exit from the body, your spirit and soul will leave you one day while your body will be buried in the ground to decay.

• THE THIRD DEATH: Revelation 20-13-15 talked about this, it is referred to it as the second death because it is only Adam and Eve that experienced the first death, anyone whose name is not found in the book of life will experience this second death, it is the continuity of life in hell fire.

One day we will all depart from this world, some will awake unto everlasting life and others to everlasting contempt, punishment, pains. No one of us will be here forever, why do you live your life as if you will always be here? Why are you desperate to acquire things you will leave some days? why are you trading your eternal joy for temporal pleasure? why will you allow the dictates of your flesh to drive you to hell?
Do you think you will always sleep and wake to see the next day? A night is coming when you will not be permitted to see this world again, and when you will open your eyes to another world, which world will you find yourself hell or heaven? Think!!!
PRAYER.
* Help me Lord not to lose my soul to hell.
