PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
8th November
Topic: THE BLIND 2
Text: John 12:36-40

36: While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
37: But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
40: He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

In part 1 of this topic, we discussed about the blind man who was the key subject in John chapter 9. Today we want to consider another set of people who were also blind.
Every sinner is living in blindness, and so such cannot see though they have eyes, the sin blindfolds their eyes from seeing their state spiritually, and they feel they need no help. One major thing sin does is to cast gross darkness over them and bar them from the seeing light. You and I know that a man with sight is potentially blind when there is darkness, how much more a blind man in the midst of darkness worst of it is when the one blind does not agree that he is blind.
Dear reader, sin is a sinker and where sin is there is gross darkness. Isaiah 60:2 says for behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people but the Lord will arise over you and his glory seen upon you. The only way out is blindness and out of darkness is to embrace the light of God through Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 8:12 that I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life. Accept Jesus today and you see the glory of God risen upon you. God bless you
