Topic: THE SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH.
Text : 1 Samuel 2:9
9: He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
Many people think all they need to be successful in life is academic certificate, they thought that by their qualifications they can get anywhere in life, some think all they need is to build a strong financial base. Some think it is their connection with people that matters in the society, but you will agree with me that life’s challenges do not respect any of these.
The forces that contend with all human beings do not respect academic qualifications, connections, riches or wealth. Of course, all these are good and needful for a fulfilled life, but believe me honestly, they can’t help you conquer the forces fighting your life.
I have heard people say, ‘ I don’t have any enemy ‘, they are right if they are trying not to make their fellow human beings enemies, but they are wrong if they feel they don’t have enemies in life, the forces of darkness fight everyone: Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The human strength, intelligence, wisdom can’t fight these forces, that is the reason our text says, ‘ …for by strength shall no man prevail ‘. Everyone needs the supernatural strength, you see some people think they don’t need to be spiritual as such, only pastors should get spiritual or seriously committed, somebody once asked me, ‘ why are you that committed? For me once I go to Sunday service, I am ok ‘. The battles and challenges of life require THE SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH.
If you do a flashback, you will remember some people who by their performance in school or achievement then, one will think they should be doing great by now, but if you look at them now, they are far from where you expect them to be, and if you ask them, they will tell you how they have only managed to survive, and instead of telling you their success stories, they tell their survival stories.
THE SUPERNATURAL is what everyone needs, and what is this Supernatural? Simply put: ABOVE THE NATURAL, you need strength from above to overcome the forces that are contrary to your progress and success, and I am glad to announce to you that God is always ready to release to anyone who is serious about it.
The Supernatural Strength is gotten in the presence of God; Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. If you look around, you will see many people are fainting, but as you wait upon the Lord, your strength is renewed, I will expatiate in part 2. God bless you.
