Topic: INCREASE
Text : 1 Conrintians 3: 6.
6: I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
Apostle Paul and Apollos were great partners in mission work, while Paul sows precious seed, Apollos waters, they were recording great success in ministry, their works prosper as they get along, and some of the brethren were divided in their loyalty to either of them, while some claim they are for Paul, some claim they are for Apollos. They must have thought it is the making of either of them, Paul considered it necessary to call them to order, and in clear terms he told them it is neither my making nor Apollos’ but God gave the increase.
Planning and strategies are good to move one’s life and business forward, in fact, they are necessary, but without God’s pronouncement of increase on whatever anyone does, it will be fruitless.
I just want to make 3 points here;
* It is important you know that God is interested in what you do, no matter how small, some people think in this manner, ‘ God is too busy to have time for small things like this ‘, see beloved, as long as that thing affects your life, he is interested in it. He is committed whatever will bring you Joy and peace, so if your small business is what you live on, you can be sure he is interested in it.
- God is willing to make your endeavors prosper, it cost him nothing to bring increase, he can do that in a twinkling of an eye, if you will allow him. It is worthy of note to know that God does not impose himself on anyone, he is always ready to assist when he is called upon, you need to come to him, and solicit for his assistance. You have to invite him into what you do, don’t rely on your knowledge and experience, but invite him and commit your work into his hands. Look at this: Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

The third point is this; God has a condition attached to our blessing, if you must experience increase in your endeavors you must be ready to meet that Condition, look at it in Deuteronomy 28:1:If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. 4: Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Obedience to his word will qualify you for increase. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Help me Lord to live my life in accordance to your word.
* Let me experience increase on every side in the name of Jesus.
