Topic: HE THAT IS TO COME

Revelation 1:8 NIV
8-I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
The Almighty God is he who was, who is and who is to come. Revelation chapter 1 called him the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The phrase “He who is to come” implies:

• He holds the future: God does not only holds the future, he equally knows the future because he is to come, and so he can correct the past or the present to affect the future. The story of the man who was born blind in John chapter 9, is a typical example. The man was born without sight from his mother’s womb and so we could say he was destined to live and die a blind man, but his destiny was changed, his future became bright when he had encounter with Jesus Christ. Jesus change his present situation of blindness to affect his future and so he was no longer the man destined to die in blindness, but to live and die full of sight. I decree every evil in your past and your present that has been termed your destiny, the Almighty God will change it today in Jesus Name.

• He is the end of all things:
  God is the beginning and the end, He was there at the beginning, He will be there at the end, in fact He is the end of all things, and at the end, he will judge all (judgement for sinners and reward to the saints). It is therefore wise to end with God, I mean to live for God till the end. You may not be able to change your past, but certainly you can decide now to be for God, live in righteousness, walk in his ways till the end. Beloved, a life that journey through this world and ends without Jesus Christ can only be considered a wasted life. What does it profit a man to gain this world and lose his own soul.

As I conclude, make a right decision today to live for God because He can correct your past, He can change your present situations and He is to come at the end of life to judge the whole world. God bless you

* Father, whatever the devil has planted in my past and my present to destroy my future, destroy them all in Jesus Name
* Father, help me to live my life all for you even till the end in Jesus Name
