Prevailing Voice Daily 23rd September

PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
23rd September
Topic: REVELATION FROM PSALMS …part 8
Text: Psalm 100:1-5
2: Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3: Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
God has blessed us through Revelation Psalm 100, we can’t really exhaust the revelation from the word of God, but anytime he wants to do something or somethings in the lives of his people he reveals them through his word, some other times I will do more teachings on Psalms, let me draw curtain on this here.
The intention of the writer of Psalm 100 is to urge it readers to do one thing, all the points I have made from part 1 are reasons for this thing he wants us to do. The chapter started like this; verse 1: Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. And it ended like this: 4: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5: For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
You see that the intention of the writer is for us to praise the Lord, while verse 3 is loaded with reasons why we should praise him, and that has been our emphasis from part 1.
What the writer wants is that all lands should make a joyful noice unto the Lord, and what does he mean by ‘ all ye lands ‘? land of the blacks and that of the whites, land of Africans, Americans, Asians, Europeans, and Russians. People of every tribe and every race should praise him. Remember that we started with this statement: IT IS HE THAT HAS MADE US, the writer was trying to say that all of us must serve and praise him because he alone is our maker, we are all products of one maker, THE ALMIGHTY GOD, he is not the stars that some people worship, he is not images that some moulded for themselves, he is not the sea that some people worship, no image is used to represent him, he is invisible.
Look at verse 4: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. This is the message; come with Thanksgiving to this almighty God, enter his court with praise, bless his name, serve him through his son Jesus Christ who died for your sins.
The writer was speaking by the Spirit of the Lord to awake our consciousness to the fact that we should praise him always, Thanksgiving and praise is all he requires from us, and every true worshipper of him must not deny him.
Worship, praise, bless him, come to his gates, and with praise come into his courts, his presence, we can say his house, (his church, church is important, instituted by God founded on Jesus) come to his court with praise, why? FOR IT IS HE WHO HAS MADE US. God bless you.
PRAISE.
* Your praise shall continually be in my mouth.
