PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
Topic: REVELATION FROM PSALMS….2
Text: Psalms 100:2,3
2: Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3: Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Glory to God who gives us insight into his word. Let’s go through Psalms 100 together; I want to start from verse 3, the writer started by saying, ‘ know that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us.. ‘, I want to unravel this statement, ‘IT IS HE THAT HATH MADE US ‘.
The Psalmist referred to the Almighty God as our maker, you might not understand what he meant except I explain this way; most times we determine the quality of a product by it’s maker, and sometimes if even you have not used or seen the product before, you go for it because of its maker. For instance, TOYOTA has made a name in automobile, the demand for Toyota cars is high because the maker is trusted over the years.
Now the Psalmist is saying our maker is God; by the sentence: IT IS HE THAT HAS MADE US, he had 2 things in mind;
1, Our maker is a perfect being, he does not make mistakes, what does this mean? It means there is no mistake about your existence, you see sometimes people feel that other people are better than they, that’s not true, this is the truth; your maker made no mistake about your existence, he made you perfect.
No matter what you’re going through or what is going through you, the fact is that your maker does not make mistake, and so he made no mistake in the course of creating you.
You want to ask: why are challenges around my life if God made me perfect? Here is the answer: this world is attributed with challenges, everyone is facing challenges, it is not about you but the world you live in, but God has given you power to overcome every challenge that comes your way.
Some people wonder why they are not fair, some are disturbed because they are not tall, some prefer to be of the other sex; the fact is that whoever you are and of whatever look or race, you’re not inferior to anyone, there is nothing wrong with your existence, but your choices.
Your existence is made perfect by the perfect being, but your choices determine what becomes of your life. God knows your parents before they gave birth to you, he knows your humble background, he knows the things that will come your way in life, and that same God has great good plans for you.
How you started your life does not matter, and the bad things that has befallen you can be reversed, there is a glorious life for you, designed by your maker, his plans for you are great. You’re destined to be great, all you need is to choose the part of greatness and that can only be actualized as you seek and serve your maker, the Almighty God. God bless you.
* As we wait upon the Lord, ask him for grace to actualize your great destiny.
