Topic: A TRAVELLER….part 10
Text : 2 Samuel 12:4
4:And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
The traveller in focus here is TIME, I don’t need to prove to you that time flies/travels, but I want share insight about the time of every man on Earth, beyond what we think we know is deep insight, they are brought to lime light as the Holy Spirit reveals.
Let’s start with this: Ecclesiastes 3: 1,2 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. It is important you know this: God chose THE BIBLE as the book life to discuss all issues of life, and so it was written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and since the Holy Spirit cannot make mistake, no part of it is written in error.
The writer of Ecclesiastes 3 was stating different type of timing of life, you will notice that he started by saying ,’ a time to born, and a time to die..’ these are 2 majoring timing in everyone’s life; born and die, but in the real context death is not the end of life, every man lives forever. When a man dies, in the real context it is the termination of his life in the body, his spirit and soul live.
The death of a man simply means his life in the body has passed, but his life continues since his spirit and soul do not die, so that makes Time a traveller. Look this scripture ; Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
It is absolutely important you know and stay in the consciousness of the fact that your life in the body determines either you awake unto everlasting life or everlasting contempt. Your life time in this perishable body determines what kind of life you live when you take up a body that will never die, you either reign with God forever in heaven or suffer in hell with the devil.
A wise man or woman will not be carried away with the temporal pleasure of this world and lose his or her soul forever in hell. This world is temporal, the life after the death of this body is forever, it has no end. Prepare for ETERNITY, give your life to Christ, live Holy, serve God and encourage others to do so, as I am encouraging you now. Prepare for Rapture. God bless you.
