Topic: THE FORCE OF LIGHT 2
Text: Genesis 1:1-3KJV
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
In part 1 of this devitional topic, we discussed that:
* The earth is a natural place of darkness (Gen 1:2)
* Naturally, life on earth is full of darkness (Isaiah 60:2)
* To make life blissful on earth there is need for the force of light.
Today we want to consider the elements of the force of light. These are:

• SALVATION THROUGH JESUS: This is first and primary element of life. In John 8:12, Jesus said I am the light of the world, whoso ever followeth will not walk in darkness but shall the light of life. John 1:4 says “In him (Jesus) was light and the light was the life of men. Jesus is the true source of light that can make your life beautiful and glorious, so I say if you need light in your life then you need Jesus Christ.
• WORD OF GOD: At creation God created light out of darkness by His words. So the word of God can bring forth light out of every darkness in your life, you just have to decree God’s word by faith into that darkness in your life or around you. David made it so clear in Psalms 119:105, saying ” Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”.
• PRAYER & FASTING: Prayer is another important element of light, if you can pray, you can turn every darkness into light, your mountain into stepping stones. Elijah prayed fire came down, Elisha prayed river Jordan parted, Jabez prayed and his destiny was transformed from sorrow to joy, The church prayed for Peter in Acts 12 and the prison doors opened for him on their own accord. Beloved when you now combine fasting with your prayer, the result will be overwhelming and positively explosive. 

As I conclude, beloved, darkness covers the earth and gross darkness cover lives on earth, you need light to enjoy victorious life in this dark world and it is guaranteed through salvation in Christ, power of God’s word, prayer and fasting. God bless you
