PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
25th June
Topic: PASSING THROUGH.. ( part 3 )
Text: Exodus 23: 25
25: And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
In part 1 of this teaching the focus was how you pass through this world, in part 2 the focus was how God wants you to pass through this world, in this part 3, the focus is how to access your needs and sound health in course of the journey.
Our scriptural passage is an instruction from God to the Israelites through the man of God, Moses, there is no amount of bread and water they would have carried that will see them through their journey, so they needed to trust God for constant supplies.
Financial plan is good and in fact everyone is expected to have a financial plan, but financial plan without God’s blessing will eventually lead to poverty, business strategies without God’s leading and blessing might lead to bankruptcy.
God is our source, he is the one who feeds us, clothes us and shelters us. Lack is a common factor in the world today, government of every country battles with unemployment, it is important to know first and foremost that God is our source, it is him that determines who prospers and who does not.
It is good to know that God has made provision for everyone, you will notice that he made everything before making Adam and Eve, that is the same way he has made provision for you before you were born. God has made provision for everyone in the world, I mean everyone, just as a family of 10 has plates for each member of the family for every meal, so God has plate for each one of the billions of people in the world today.
You want to ask; if it is so why are some hungry? The answer is this; God is not responsible for their hunger, three things most likely responsible for that; 1. Inability to obey divine instructions. 2. Laziness 3. Devil might have stolen their fortune in life. God is not wicked, he won’t make anyone he can’t provide his or her needs, so the point I am making invariably here is that God made provision for you in fact, your daily supplies.
Our passage today is divine instruction that brings supplies of our needs: Take note that Exodus means exit, that means at the point of exiting from Egypt to start journey to the promise land, as they were passing through, God told them how to get their supplies.
Clear instruction, ‘ And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. I don’t need to expatiate on this, it is self explanatory. That is how to get supplies, and be free from sicknesses and diseases. God is committed to blessing us as we serve him. In part 4, the focus will be ‘ what you’re passing through ‘. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Help me lord to serve you wholeheartedly.
