PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
13th June
Topic: TOUCHING HEAVEN.
Text : Isaiah 66:1,2

1: Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2: For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life, let me more of thy beauty see, wonderful words of life. PREVAILING VOICE DAILY is no doubt a medium through which God touches lives, Glory to his name.

Some important points to raise here, just get along with me; it is important you know that events on earth move God over there in heaven, I don’t want to initiate complexity of thought here, I will simply narrow it to what you can easily understand by answering this question; how can one Touch Heaven?

1, THROUGH PRAYER: Exodus 2:24,25: And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant…. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them. God hears cries from the earth, he shows respect to the prayer of his people.

2, THROUGH CONSECRATION: A consecrated life moves God, God can feel anyone who is committed to his will and purpose on earth, your service to God reaches God when done with a committed heart and you can be sure of response from heaven. Job is a perfect example here.Job 1:8.

3, THROUGH SACRIFICE: your sacrifice to God can draw heaven’s attention to you, of course not the killing of animals or burning of incense but your financial gifts to God’s work, the poor, and men of God, this can make heaven release the supernatural on you. King Solomon gave God one thousand burnt offerings and God visited him in less than 24 hours. 1 Kings 3:3-5.

In 2 Kings 4:8-17 an influential but barren woman took care of Elisha and she gave birth to a son, you want to say this is old testament; the disciples in Acts of the Apostles brought what they had to the Apostle’s feet. Apostle Paul spoke in clear terms in 2 Corinthians 9:6,7 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. From this passage we discover that reaping is determined by sowing, if you understand this you wouldn’t need the argument about tithe.

4, THROUGH SIN; just as prayers, consecrations and sacrifices go to God, your sins also go to God, likewise the sin of a nation. Look at this: Jonah 1:2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. The wickedness that men do go to God, nothing is hidden before God.

What you send to heaven determines what you receive from heaven, so watch it. God bless you.

PRAYER.
* As we wait upon the Lord today, let’s touch heaven through praises and prayer.
