Text: Luke 12:42-48
42: And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43: Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
When you look around you will see those who appear blessed than you, and you will also see a lot of people who are not at the level you are, if you have access to this message, I mean this write up, then you are not at the lowest class in life; if you look around you will discover you’re privileged more than so many people in the world today.
I long discovered how devil makes people feel bad, can I share with you? He simply brings to your thought the things you think you ought to have but you don’t have, you do a check on yourself, anytime you feel bad, check what makes you feel bad, the things you lack, you do not take thought of what you have that many people don’t have and you come to a point of feeling less blessed. This feeling always bring one to a point of focusing on oneself, wanting to acquire more, wanting to improve one’s life, that isn’t bad too, but much more to this; God wants us reach out to others.
In your quest to see your dreams come true you most likely might not see the person close to you who needs a little favor for surviver, while you’re planning to buy another car, someone around you is desperately in need of something at your finger tips, in your quest to get millions for a project someone around might need an insignificant amount of that to come to life and keep his family running.
This is my conclusion with scriptural proof God expects us to touch lives as he blesses us: look at verse 42 of our passage: And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? God has made you ruler over some people, some people’s meals are in your hands, they don’t have to be your family members and God expects you to give them in due season.
The human thirst can’t be quenched, because of the desire for more that springs up in our hearts everyday. A wise and faithful servant will always remember; I have been blessed to bless others not to acquire more, I am raised to touch lives and raise destines. I mustn’t live a selfish life.
As God touches your life, business, and finance you must reach out to others, God wants you to bless some people. There is punishment for non compliance, look at verse 42: And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
