Topic: GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT: A GREAT TEACHER
Text: John 14:26 KJV
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The Holy spirit is the third person in the Trinity, his personality has numerous functions he performs to men e.g he teaches, he comforts, he guides, he leads, he intercedes, he gives boldness, he gives power, he releases grace, he is a great partner to work with and a great friend to fellowship with.
We want to consider, the Holy spirit as the great teacher. From our text, above, when Jesus was
was rounding off his earthly ministry, he promised the Father would send the Holy spirit who will teach all things, that’s why we call him the great teacher, there is nothing the Holy spirit cannot teach, the issue is that very many do not understand the person of the Holy spirit and those who understand still do not relate or recognise him as such.
Often times I have heard such word as “Ask Google”, Google is a search engine considered by many to be where information can be easily retrieved on any subject matter, and so when you need some information you ask google, now we have a great teacher than google, who can teach you all things, and reveal all things, so the question is how often do you ask the Holy spirit?
Be conscious of the Holy spirit, and ask him to teach you, I tell you the truth, if you could attach a greater importance to search through the Holy spirit just as you always search through google, your life will be far better of. This is what I mean, assuming you want to do a business and you search through google to get information on the kinds of business you can do or invest in, of course google will give you diverse information to chose from but when you search through the Holy spirit, he will show to you the best and divine one that fits God’s plan for your life.
Dearly beloved, are you confused about any area of your life, spiritual, business, job, academics, career, health, marital, family e.t.c I have got an advise for you and that is, search through or ask the Holy spirit. God bless you
