Genesis 49:1-33KJV
1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
By the grace of God we are rounding off on this topic today, in the last three weeks we studied there are three kinds of father (biological, spiritual and our heavenly father) who have authority to bless or curse their children.
What we want to focus on today is an advise for biological and spiritual fathers that it is good to bless your children than to curse them, because at times the father who pronounce the curse either directly or indirectly share in the consequences of the curse, also the father who blesses his children always share in the goodness of the blessings either directly or indirectly. When you curse your biological or spiritual children, and the curse change the course of their lives from good to evil, your children will not remember you for good, they will nurse bitterness in their heart against you and when you need their help they will choose to stay far away from you, but if you bless them, you will surely eat of the blessings upon their lives.
I want you to understand again that when you bless, angels of God assigned to your children are committed to carryout the blessings but when you curse, demonic spirit are also on the alert to carryout such curses in the lives of your children, so it is rather good to bless than to curse.
Parents who curse their children at the slightest provocations should desist from such as it alter the course of their lives, even when you forgot you cursed them, the demonic spirit do not forget. God bless you.

* Father, help me to be a blessing and not a curse to my parents and to my children in Jesus Name.
