PREVAILING VOICE DAILY

Topic: ENGAGING YOUR MIND ( part 2 )
Text : Romans 12:2
2: Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
Blessed be our God who daily loads us with blessings, He blesses us through His word daily. Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life, let me more of thy beauty see, wonderful words of life.
Man is unique among all other creatures because of his mind, even spirits and demons could not use their minds, if at all they have any; they are subjects to their master. Only man among all creature is allowed by God to reason out his ways, even angels in heaven are not allowed to use their minds.
A man’s life is determined by his mindset, the word ‘ mindset ‘ is the combination of 2 words; mind and set, a man’s life is set by his mind, you will notice that when your mind is not settled you can’t do things right, in fact, you don’t feel like doing anything, so, one thing is necessary here; setting your mind because your mind will be needed to set your life.
The setting of your mind determines the setting of your life, you will agree with me that when unpleasant thing happens, it is not easy to get over the pains, you probably wish you don’t remember such event but it’s difficult, at that time you need mind renewal, and nothing else can go over your mind to renew it except God’s word.
As you meditate upon God’s word, it will be like something cleaning your mind. Jesus spoke in John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. So God’s word brings renewal of mind, so whenever your mind is unsettled you need God’s word.
As you meditate upon God’s word your mind will switch from your challenge to God’s ability, God’s word tells you what God can do, and gives you instructions that brings solution in time of crisis, that is the transformation.
You must do 2 things if your mind must set your life in order;
1, Keep renewing your mind by the word of God.
2, Keep informing your mind by learning. The combination of the duo (two) brings the best of your life to reality, as you renew your mind through God’s word, God will direct you to do one of the things you have learnt, God won’t ask you to do what you don’t know.
In Matthew 17:27 Jesus needed money so, He instructed Peter (fisherman) to go fishing, and in the mouth of the first fish he caught was found money, so if God must give you a mega breakthrough, knowledge is required, He will give you direction in line with what you know, in Hosea 4:6 He said, ‘ my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..’ Knowledge is key beloved, if you must have financial fortune or any kind of breakthrough. Stay blessed.
