8th April
Topic: OH THAT MEN WOULD PRAISE THE LORD

Text: Psalms 107: 1-9
7:He led them forth by the straight and right way, that they might go to a city where they could establish their homes.
8: Oh, that men would praise [and confess to] the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men!
9: For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with good.
Every 5th of April is a time to reflect on my life, it is a date I celebrate victory, success and breakthrough. There were serious attacks on life, I was challenged on every side, 5th of April is a date of celebration to me but great lose to the devil.
One big mistake we make sometimes is to forget our times of challenges to point that we lost gratitude to God, everyone of us at one point or the other has been through things, and when we come out we feel it is natural to come out of it, of course not, many lives have gone with such challenges.
Our passage is an interesting scripture; verse 7 read thus; He led them forth by the straight and right way, that they might go to a city where they could establish their homes. God has brought us out of obscurity to limelight, He led us forth by the right way, and established us, this is amazing.
It is a clear point that we couldn’t have gotten to where we are without God, I have got stories that prove only God could have seen me through, I have worked through the valley of death, I have had narrow escapes, I have moved steps ahead, God has illuminated my life by His word.
If there is anything God has blessed me with, it’s His word. His words have broken limitations around my life, He has always dropped right prayer points in my spirit, my life has not been void of His direction, I can boost of nothing but God, He is all I have got, He made me from dust, I was a sinner, He saved me by grace, oh and what a great privileged He has given me to reign with Him forever.
If you look into your life, and take thoughts of things you have been through you will reason like me, and understand that it could only be God. The Psalmist goes further to say in verse 8: Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
God has been wonderful, to Him alone be all the glory.
PRAYER.
* I praise you Lord for your goodness and wonderful works in life.
