PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
28th March
Topic: THE ARM AND HAND OF THE LORD
Text : Psalms 44:1-3
1: We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
2: How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
3: For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
Man is made in the image of God, and just as you cannot do anything without stretching your hand, so God also carry out His works by stretching His invisible hand. From our text the Psalmist was talking about the great deliverance God gave the Israelites, making reference to their great grand fathers, and in verse 1 he said, ‘ …our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in theirs days, in the times of old..’ Their coming out of Egypt was not their making but by your right hand and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance ( this was the subject last Sunday )
I want to focus on the arm and hand of the Lord here, Look at this scripture; Jeremiah 27:5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. You can see Him mentioned His outstretched arm in this passage, take note of the last line of this verse, ‘ and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me’ . It is with His arm that He does great things in our lives, and it is important you call for that arm upon your life, God touches lives by His hand, and you can also experience His touch for transformation.
You can call for that hand upon your life. It is also important you understand that hand is holy, and anyone who wants that hand upon his or her life must abstain from sin. It is also worthy of note that God does not impose himself on anyone, just as you don’t go visiting people when they don’t want you to visit them, but you visit with joy when you are specifically invited, for you to receive this touch of God there must be special invitation and preparation.
Seeking God is the key to receiving His touch for divine intervention, God rests His hand on anyone who seeks Him and desires more of Him. When His hands comes your life you can’t remain the same, mountains will crash and crumble before you, you will go places, you will achieve great things easily.
I beseech you seek His face this day and ask Him to rest his hand upon your life.
I will be waiting upon the Lord as I witness another year of life, it is has become a usual practice every year, it is not meant to trust God for personal needs alone, but also to make intercession for people, and if you will want me to agree with you on any matter, just drop your prayer points on 2348099000835. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* As wait we upon the Lord today, ask Him to bring His hand upon your life.
