Topic: YOUR LIGHT AND GLORY (part 1)
Text: psalms 3: 1-3
3: But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Feedbacks from readers of PREVAILING VOICE DAILY show that God is doing great things through this platform. It is good know that God is touching lives in different countries of the world, through this medium, yes different countries I mean. God spoke me many years ago using this scripture Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. As long as it is His words not ours, it will go places.
I am starting an interesting topic today by the leading of the Holy Spirit, it will in a great way bless you. I just want to lay emphasis on ‘ your glory ‘ here. Let me come out this way; just as you won’t go to market to buy what is not useful to you likewise God has not spent His time making a useless man. In other words, God didn’t make any man useless, no man is made or born without glory.
See beloved, what I am sharing with you today has gone a long way to add value to my life, the enemy tried so much to erode glory from my life, but by this understanding all his numerous efforts became futile, no human being is classed low, everyone of us is made with glory, God never destined any man to be ridiculed or humiliated in life. The first point I am making is that you must understand that you’re made with glory, can I shook you? God did not create anyone better than you, you’re not inferior to anyone including your boss, you are only meant to submit to him. Inferiority is extremely different from submission, submission means yielding to the control of another. This is not to encourage you to be arrogant, it is simply to make you understand who God has made you to be.
The second point is this; man is created to manifest the glory of God, look at this popular scripture Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. God’s glory is seen through man not angels, or spirits, God made you to live a glorious life, the Psalmist in verse 3 of our text says, ‘ …my glory and the lifter up of my head ‘ your life is expected to manifest glory.
If you’re living without glory that’s far from God’s plan, this message is not to inform you but to inspire and empower you to rise in glory, be ready to live a changed life. If nothing fantastic is happening in your life you’re also below God’s expectations for your life.
The only thing that can stop you is sin, abstain from sin, break loose from everything holding you down through prayer, God didn’t make you to be struggling, take your place in God.
